- CLARIFICATION: i am swe, and this is one of my mutual's experience, i checked most of it personally: - It was a basic application based process, small interview, basically a formality - the format was that they would give us one month for every project and we had to show it at the end of month - they said the stipend was gonna be "performance based" upto 10k - they started giving out projects that were impossible for beginners, mind you, this whole thing was catered to beginners from the start (hence probably almost negligible interview) - the last meeting, one of the "reviewers" joined, and he was most probably a non tech dude, as he said "mere paas tumhare liye time nhi hai" as soon as he joined the meet, some of his words were also "tum to tech vaale bande ho, tumhe advance tools use karna aane chaiye" - then he reviewed one of the project decks, which was pretty decent btw and gave it 5/50 and said "khushi manao mein tumhe itne bhi de rha hoon, bas isiliye kyunki tumne present kiya" - for context 5/50 means he MAYBE paid at most 500 rupees for one month and so on.. - side note, all of these things were said in a pretty mean and abusive way as well - basically the whole program is made to get as much unpaid work out as possible from applicants
